WARM HOUSE RESTAURANT
Neah Bay, Washington, USA
Warm House was one of the seasonal villages of the Makah people on the rainforest coast of Washington state. Warm House is the name given by the Makah Tribe to their new restaurant on the shores of Neah Bay. As an efficient use of space, seating expands out onto beach decks during the mild summers when demand is the greatest. Inside, fire rises from a bed of river rocks to light an interior of cedar logs, copper trim, and cedar bark cloth. Outside, lights cast a glow onto a great mural as vibrant as the stormy waters of this Pacific shore.
